It all comes down to that I am a designer. And the design process for me is the same- so no matter if I am designing a handbag, designing a speech to “wow” thousands, designing a book to teach millions, or designing the success of an organization- it all begins with knowing who I am helping. It is never about helping a woman in a general sense. I want the bags I design to help a very specific woman. Because it helps this one very specific woman, I know that there are thousands more women out in the world who have the same needs, wants, and desires. Design for me is about helping, fulfilling, and seeing someone’s needs, wants, and desires sometimes even before they do so that they can go and change their world in their own unique way.
